Responsibilities
As Japan Content Manager, you'll be in charge of planning and producing new Japanese dramas for Vigloo.
- Oversee the production of short-form Japanese dramas.
- Discover new production partners and strengthen existing relationships.
- Provide constructive feedback and manage the full production cycle from planning to shooting and post-production.
- Negotiate production frameworks and finalize contracts.
- Review subtitles and final video files to ensure high-quality content.
- Analyze user and industry trends.
- Monitor global viewer feedback and watch time by region to identify viewer preferences.
- Track industry trends and competitor activities to improve content quality.
Qualifications – We’re Looking for Someone Who
- Is Korean with business-level Japanese, or Japanese with business-level Korean.
- Has 3+ years of experience in IT startups, content production companies, or entertainment industries.
- Can communicate effectively with production partners.
- Adapts well to fast-paced work environments.
- Desires to work in a global setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in video production or with a production/OTT company.
- Passion for short-form dramas and frequently watches them.
- Good understanding of the short-form drama industry.
